Motivation gets you started. Habit keeps you going.
Gi Jiu Jitsu is grappling with the use of a traditional Gi, which can be useful for certain types of grappling techniques. A traditional gi or “kimono” is based on the traditional kimonos worn in Japanese martial arts such as judo since the 1920s.
No Gi is a BJJ style in which you don’t have to wear a Gi uniform. No Gi is generally geared towards people who have already taken a few foundations classes or who have come from another martial art.
Jiu Jitsu is perfect for self defense and protection. It gives you the tools to take down and control aggressors who have large physical advantages over you. Taking down and controlling an opponent is very effective because it not only protects you from unnecessary blows but also allows you to control your opponent without damaging them.

Took my first Jiu-Jitsu class at 127 Bjj and have been training here ever since. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. They'll always take the time to walk you through complicated techniques. Also all the students there are friendly and great to train with. Highly recommend 127 Bjj for anyone interested in Jiu-Jitsu or for those looking to continue to improve their skills.
